Beijing,China,November 23,2022-When the white snow covers the Chongli Mountains again,this city,which has been recognized by the world for holding part of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games,began to welcome a large number of ice and snow sports enthusiasts.
Many tourists come to Chongli,hoping to wash their hearts and wash away the tiredness of the whole year in the pure snow and ice world,while savoring the intense Olympic Games and having a try on the track.Clothing,food,housing and transportation are the basic living needs of people.When traveling outside,the quality of accommodation affects the travel experience even more.In the fast-paced daily life,people no longer meet the standard accommodation experience of traditional hotels,but gradually turn their attention to the characteristic homestay products.On the one hand,the environmental layout of the homestay is close to the local cultural customs and has a higher sense of experience;On the other hand,living in a homestay makes people feel more at home,bringing a full sense of belonging to tourists living in different places.
At the end of 2021,the”Twelve-Year Public Welfare Design Exhibition”was unveiled in Chongli,and 16 art spaces created by 23 well-known domestic designers and their teams with the purpose of”design for the people’s livelihood”were officially unveiled in Aoxue Town,Cuiyun Mountain.This project aims to create a variety of unique accommodation experiences for tourists by combining the design power with tourism resources such as ice and snow sports and natural scenery.As one of the participants,Mr.Huang Zhida,founder of RWD(Ricky Wong Designers),believed that”home in the distance”should also meet the real needs of life,and even the temporary residence during leisure vacation should be as comprehensive as home.In his work”Xiling House”,he first describes the prototype of the reassuring snow hut with soft design,and then works with Schneider Electric to make the living life closer to the warmth of home with the help of intelligent technology.
Set to the occasion to create a comfortable aesthetic space in the snow
Designer Huang Zhida has more than 20 years of design experience.In his career,he often visited different countries and regions to observe and deeply experience various lifestyles.He advocates that”design gives life infinite possibilities”,so in his design,you can see the place where your heart yearns.These successes have won many domestic and international awards such as international interior design,APIDA Awards,Asia’s most influential design,etc.
The window contains the autumn snow in the western mountains,and the door berths the Dongwu Wanli boat.In those days,the poet looked out of the window at the snowy mountains of the West Mountain.The snow did not give people a chill,but rather looked like a picture in the window frame.This is the people’s best imagination of living in snow for thousands of years.The house gives people warm and safe shelter,and lets people feel the vast world outside the window in a quiet house.This is the inspiration of Huang Zhida’s”Xiling Residence”.
To create an indoor atmosphere suitable for appreciating the snow outside the window,the designer Huang Zhida mainly starts from three aspects:color,material and lighting.
The tone is the keynote of the overall atmosphere.Xilingju uses a large area of beige as the background color,and some furniture and decoration use sand lime,light ochre and dark green as embellishments.The color saturation of the whole room is low,which can fully relax the vision,thus driving the relaxation of mood.
The designer wanted to retain the original style and interest of the house space,so he did not modify the original structure and texture of the interior too much.In his design,he used natural materials such as marble and log floor to make the house exude the ancient and simple Zen and restore the oriental aesthetics in the poem.And select household products with soft materials to create a warm and comfortable living atmosphere.The clever thing is that the designer also brings a transparent modern sense with metal and paint,which connects the artistic conception and reality.
Lighting is a magic touch that affects the sense of space atmosphere.The outside is white snow,but the inside is full of warm lights.Through Schneider Electric Wiser smart home system KNX platinum series,the designer applied the lighting to the extreme,and set off the artistic temperament of Xilingju”with snow in the window”.In addition,the thinnest,simplest and most beautiful design and metal texture of the intelligent panel of Zhenbo series are also integrated with the material style of the space,which perfectly improves the quality of the whole space.
Intelligent blessing,into the”comfort circle”thousands of miles away
A homestay can not only provide poetic aesthetic enjoyment and opportunities to get close to nature,but also provide comfortable living experience to meet the general holiday needs of contemporary urban people.The designer took the”home”as the prototype and shaped the”home in the distance”.
The internal space of Xilingju is divided into living area,office area and leisure area according to the standard of function,which not only meets the needs of rest during the holiday,but also allows the residents to cope with the business needs of occasional office.According to different functional zones,the living room,bedroom,bathroom,kitchen and terrace are subdivided,which is a familiar spatial layout like home.
