Product Description:

Z7306 is one of the Z7 series card, which has the following characteristics:
Integrated technology: The card incorporates gate commutated thyristor IGCT, a new type of power electronic device that combines the advantages of IGBT and GTO. Compared with the GTO, its capacity is comparable but the switching speed is faster, and the complex buffer circuit can be eliminated, although its drive power requirements are still large.
Application fields: Due to the potential of IGCT in high-power situations,  Z7306 has important applications in the fields of new energy grid-connected, offshore wind power transmission and UHV, such as flexible DC transmission technology combining power electronics, power systems, communication principles and other advanced technologies.
Data exchange and buffering: As a digital input card, the Z7306 also has a data buffering function, which is used to temporarily store data from the host at high speed and transfer the data to the I/O device at the rate that the I/O device has. In addition, it is responsible for error control and ensures the correctness of data input.
