SBI-PDP-32 SD-108542 SD-98762 GE introduces PLC logic relay system
Phoenix Contact introduces the PLC Logic Relay system, which combines basic programmable logic functions with the company’s PLC relays to create an “intelligent” relay system. The PLC logic system places the logic in a small module that plugs directly into a module consisting of eight PLC relays. By eliminating the need for a separate controller, PLC logic saves space and simplifies maintenance.
Pluggable logic modules are compatible with a wide range of electromechanical and solid-state relays from Phoenix Contact and can be used in a wide range of voltages. When connected to a set of eight relays, the entire PLC logic system is only 50 mm wide. Thanks to the hot-swap relay function, individual relays can be replaced without shutting down the entire system.
With expansion modules, each relay channel can be configured for input or output from 16 to 48 I/O points. The logic module has eight integrated digital inputs, two of which can be defined as analog inputs (0-10 V).
With LOGIC+ programming software, users can simply drag and drop to configure the system. The software also includes commands for configuring timers, counters, thresholds, and more options. It can be downloaded for free.
