Configuration case|RS232 to Profinet gateway connected to package scanner
This article mainly introduces the use of RS232 to Profinet gateway(product model:GW-PN5002)produced by Xiaojiang Intelligent Control(Beijing)Technology Co.,Ltd.in barcode scanning in the counting and scanning outer packaging.
Case description:When the RS232 to Profinet gateway GW-PN5002 produced by Xiaojiang Intelligent Control is used in this project,it is not necessary to carry out complex programming,but simply configure it according to the maximum number of bytes transmitted by each code scanning gun.
1.First,create a new project file;
2.After the GSD is installed successfully,open the hardware directory and add the installed GSD file to the configuration.The RS232 to Profinet gateway and PLC have not been connected yet and are in the unassigned state;
3.Click Unassigned to connect with PLC to set the parameters of RS232 to Profinet gateway attributes;
4.Gateway attribute,modify the IP address and PROFINET device name of the RS232 to Profinet gateway(do not include*./symbols in the device name).
It should be noted that when setting the PROFINET device name,do not check the automatic generation of PROFINET device name;
5.Add the required number of input and output bytes,and add the number of bytes as required;
6.As shown in the figure below,after setting parameters,you can download and load them to PLC;
7.Open RS232 to Profinet gateway configuration software;
8.In the RS232 to Profinet gateway configuration software,the device name and IP address should be set and completely consistent with the gateway configuration of Botu.
It should be noted that:do not add/*-symbols to the device name;
9.In the RS232 to Profinet gateway configuration software,this case is configured in the mode of producer and consumer;
10.In the RS232 to PROFINET gateway configuration software,right click the subnet to add nodes,and set baud rate and other relevant parameters according to the balance manual;
11.After all parameters are set in the RS232 to Profinet gateway configuration software,download the configuration;
12.Through the Botu configuration monitoring table,you can see that the data in the bar code diagram below is fully reflected through the code scanner.
